About North South University Bangladesh

North South University, the 1st non-public university in Bangladesh, was founded more than 18 years ago by a class of philanthropists, industrialists, bureaucrats and academics. The government of Bangladesh authorised the organization of North South University in 1992 under Private University Act (PUA) 1992 (now changed by PUA 2010). The North South University was officially inaugurated on 10 February 1993 by then Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The professional President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh is the Chancellor of North South University.

North South University Bangladesh Application Form

Learners involved in studying North South University should give cash or a bank draft or payorder for Taka 800 or US$20 or comparative to the Accounts Office for an application form and information related to the admissions procedure. The North South University student should returning the finished application form to the Registrar’s Office. All communication and queries related to admission to the University should be attended to to this office.

On weekdays from Sunday to Thursday from 10: 00 am to 2: 00 pm the Registrar’s Office recommends probable learners and their guardians related to admission. North South University Undergraduate Admission Requirements

The minimum qualifications for admission into these programs are:

North South University Bangladesh Educational Qualifications:

• 2nd division both in SSC and HSC or a minimum GPA of 3. 5 in both SSC and HSC exams.
• GCE O-level and A-level:
• O-level in 5 subjects with Average Grade Point of 2. 5 or above and A-level in 2 subjects with Average Grade Point of 2. 0 and above; in the range of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1. (one E is appropriate)
• A US High School Diploma or equivalent.

Conditions may be transformed at any time if there is a transform in admission plan.

• Appropriate totals in NSU’s admission test.
• Admission test will be waived for all those who have obtained a minimum score of 1200 in SAT (Math+ Critical Reading) and 550 ( CBT 213/IBT 79) in TOEFL or 5. 5 in IELTS.
• HSC/A-level (appeared) applicants may sit down for the admission test on the base of an starting that they will not be accepted except they pass the HSC/A level exams with minimum GPA qualification which will be pointed out in the Admission Offer Letter. A-level came out university student must send their Assertion of Entry.

North South University Graduate Admission Requirements

The minimum qualifications for admission to Graduate programs are:

MBA Program:

• A 4-year Bachelor or a 3-year Honors degree or a Master’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 2nd Class (45% or above) in all examinations or a minimum CGPA of 2. 5 on a 4-point scale
• Being qualified in NSU admission test or minimum score of 550 (CBT 213) both in TOEFL & GMAT
• Waiver of admission for applicants with undergraduate GPA of 3. 8 or above from NSU.

Executive MBA Program:

• A 4-year Bachelor or a 3-year Honors degree or a Master’s degree in any discipline
• Minimum 2nd Elegance in all examinations or a minimum CGPA of 2. 5 on a 4-point scale
• At least 5 years of steady function knowledge as professional (8 years for those with a 2-year Bachelor degree)
