University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Admission Requirements

Admissions for Undergraduate degree programs normally exposed the moment in a year during Fall Semester i. e August / September.
Applications for admission to several Undergraduate degree programs are asked through an advertisement in the National Press. Admission is designed simply on merit basis from amongst the candidates. The subsequent degree programs are made available by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ( DVM ), 5 years, Morning and Evening
• Doctor of Pharmacy ( Pharm. D ), 5 years, Morning
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Applied Microbiology, 4 years
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Dairy Technology, 4  years
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Poultry Science, 4 years
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Biotechnology and Informatics, 4 years
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Applied Zoology (Fisheries / Wildlife), 4 years
• B. S. ( Hons. ) Environmental Sciences, 4 years

The applicants domiciled in any section of Pakistan, who have exceeded FSc (Pre-Medical /Pre-Engineering) examination from any of the Educational Boards or an examination known as equivalent thereto from a recognized institution securing at least 60% (660/1100) (excluding Hafiz-e-Quran, if any) are a candidate to employ for admission. If an candidate is Hafiz-e-Quran, 20 marks will be added in to his total marks attained in FSc examination to determine his entrance merit.
A applicant searching for admission must not be over 23 years of age on the date of admission.
The Academic Council shall establish the number of students to be accepted in Undergraduate degree programs of each year’s academic session.

Following documents requirements to be submitted coupled with Admission Form:

• Attested Photocopy of Matric / equivalent certificate along with details marks sheet
• Attested Photocopy of FSc/ equivalent certificate in addition to details marks sheet
• Attested Photocopy of equivalence certificate, if pertinent
• FOUR x Passport size photograph
• Attested Photocopy of certificate Hafiz-e-Quran, if appropriate
• Attested Photocopy of NIC or Form ‘B’ (if NIC not issued)
• Attested Photocopy of Domicile Certificate
• Attested photocopy of Sports Certificates, if applicable
• Attested photocopy of Disability Certificate, if appropriate.
