World University of Bangladesh structured a program on 21st March 2012, to honor Gold Medals to three famous persons. The Medals were paid to Abdul Matin for his factor in the language movement and Abdur Razzak (Posthumously), and Lieutenant Colonel (rtd) Abu Osman Chowdhury for their info in the War of Liberation. The medal of Abdur Razzak was attained by his wife Mrs. Farida Razzak and his sons Nahim Razzaak MP and Fahim Razzak.
